I finally merembered my November resolution

Did you know November was going to be the month I wrote something here every day? Even if it was just a sentence? Or a word, even? Yes, well I’ve just remembered myself, so I’ll try not to hold it against you. Not that I ever voiced this intention aloud, or anything. Ahem. I will go back and fill in the gaps, like a doctored war photograph. But it really happened! I was there!

So it’s another beautiful day here in Melbourne. I took the Black Dog for a walk at about 10.30am before it got too hot; we walked through the shady streets of my suburb, right through an apartment auction ($360K! You people are mad) and continued on past the House of the Barking Dog, the House of the Yelping Spaniel, the Green Fence containing Some Sort of Lunging and Baying Ferocity, the Bay Window Containining a Quiet yet Sad Eyed Cocker Spaniel, and That Place in the Fence where the Two Little Foxies go off their respective Heads. The Black Dog knows all of these places intimately, and walks a little faster with his ears pricked up as we approach each one. I don’t know whether he considers them friends, foes, or neutral principalities, sort of like Monaco. The reason I don’t know this is because I’ve never asked him. And I don’t really want to disturb him now, since he is working hard on the early afternoon part of his daily schedule (Stretch out on Cold Bricks of Courtyard; Nap.)

"Make a remark," said the Red Queen: "Its ridiculous to leave all conversation to the pudding!"
